Three Represents As formulated by Jiang Zemin in a 2001 report the 'Three Represents' are the main tasks the Communist Party of China must tackle 'to continue the modernization drive, accomplish the great cause of the reunification of our motherland, safeguard world peace and promote common development'. They are the requirements to 1. develop the advanced productive forces, 2. orient towards advanced culture, and 3. represent the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people.
